Unremitting Joy – 40

Acts 1:9Ascension

In the late 90’s the poem Footprints in the Sand by Mary Stephenson became very well known – if you are unfamiliar with it you will find it here.  As Jesus ascends to heaven the only thing left behind are his footprints, as the disciples look up into the cloud of glory there on the ground the footprints remain.  Jesus despite appearing to have disappeared again he has not left the disciples and will never leave again.
