Unremitting Joy – 27

The talk had been so good, that with evening approaching Cleopas and his friend didn’t want this conversation to end.

As darkness fell I imagine a glorious evening sky as the clouds of uncertainty are tinged with the colours of new realisation.  Cleopas and his companion have not yet realised with whom it is they are speaking but something has lightened their step, something has meant the darkness of the previous nights is no longer overwhelming them.  They wanted to hear more and invited their travelling companion to stay and eat with them.

Are we ready and willing to explore deeper, to grasp those rays of light even if they don’t yet make sense and let them seep into our very being, bringing a rainbow of hope into our darkness nights.
