When it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, and the doors of the house where the disciples had met were locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you.’
However locked doors can’t and won’t bar Christ and even in our deepest darkest fear Christ can enter and bring about peace. A peace that passes all understanding. A peace that can calm the most anxious mind, the most troubled soul, the most fearful heart. A peace that the world can not give, but a peace that is in much need. Do we have it? Will we spread it? Can we share it, for there is plenty to go around.
