Uncharted areas of maps used to have the phrase ‘Here be dragons’ across the blankness accompanied sometimes by a representation of a dragon. They were a symbol for many of the unknown and fear was associated with them. Charles Spurgeon wrote:-
Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow – only today of its strenght.
We need not be anxious for the dragons are conquered, the angels are there to protect us for tomorrow and remind us that we have strength enough for today.
