Okay so this film may be an old one, but I was doing some research and was watching it for the first time in many years again late last night. Despite the clothes and hairstyle of Deloris (Whoopi Goldberg) it is proving to be a film that stands the test of time. I still laughed, I still thought that Maggie Smith was wonderful as Mother Superior, and that the voice of Kathy Najimy as Sister Mary Patrick would have made me, if I was Whoopi, decide not to sing in the final scene. So if you also haven’t watched it for a while why don’t you give it another airing too?
