This is one of the DVD’s that has been on a pile to watch for some time now. Richard Dreyfuss, Holly Hunter and John Goodman star in it and it is billed as a romantic adventure. However the reason for me wanting to see this film was due to Audrey Hepburn playing a cameo role as God in it.
The film is harmless enough although once Audrey’s appearance had come and gone I lost interest in it. The story is weak and been done far better countless times before, although some of the cinematography was excellent, but then it was directed by Steven Spielberg. All in all I would give this one a miss – although the idea of God giving someone a haircut was an intriguing one!
