Today the church celebrates that 40 days after Christ’s resurrection from the dead, while on the Mount of Olives near Bethany, he said farewell to his disciples once again and ascended into heaven.
Today I also remember – for the 7th year – that I have still to read Chris Dolan’s book Ascension Day, I will go and get it out of the book shelf and put it on my reading pile now.
