Visited Salisbury Cathedral in August 2005, staying in Sarum College. A certain Scottish Cathedral choir were singing there that particular week. Camera was with me so a few pictures taken - http://bonnyton.fotopic.net/c659433.html

Kenny, I most certianly didn't miss the drama and there was drama aplenty, however haven't had time to do a post about it, or a visit to the theatre last week, both of which probably wont be posted about at all now.

Lissa it was a bit of a dash and we didn't have time to see anything else, that will have to wait for the next visit - I certainly want to go back again.

It is many years since I last visted Salisbury cathedral, but the unity of the architecture is remarkable. Did you find a chance to visit the ruins of the former cathedral at Old Sarum?

We also have an original Magna Carta at Lincoln which is now housed in the castle and is arranged to form the climax of a very detailed display explaining the charter's background.
