Have we cleared away the rocks so our roots can go deep and a healthy productive vine can grow?

We may be able to clear away the surface rocks, but can we clear away the bedrock, or do we accept what is there and challenge ourselves to grow the best we can in the topsoil it has engendered?

The bedrock should be God, I am sure that we would both agree that God should not be blasted away. God provides the soil in which we grow and yes we should make the best of it, which will mean weeding and fertilizing too as well as not cluttering it up with rocks of our own design.
