Just because something looks as if life has left it doesn’t mean it has as this tree stump proves. It might not have leaves and braches any more but still there is life the fungi is flourishing, as is the moss. It only takes a spark to start a fire, with Holy Week almost upon us maybe it is time to put some of our Lenten discoveries into action and set off a few sparks in places where things seem dull and lifeless.
