Well on one hand that didn’t take and hour, on the other it still isn’t sorted but at least I have now been told the truth, that BT probably wont be able to fix it before Christmas.
However a quick call to Virgin Media, the previous supplier, meant I was talking to Dave who was very helpful and with his assistance a temporary if not ideal solution has been found. By tomorrow morning the Rectory phone number will be able to be answered again, no thanks to BT who are the ones that have messed it all up.
